This 99-acre property on Tide Point is the largest land in private ownership on Cypress Island. This conservation gem features rare wetlands, mature coastal forest, bluffs overlooking Puget Sound and critical marine shoreline. Its is permanently protected under a voluntary conservation easement held by Skagit Land Trust that adds an important component to the preservation of this island’s ecological integrity. Over 90% of the 5,500 acre island is now protected via WA State DNR’s resource area plus preserve system and by private citizens. This is the largest undeveloped island in the San Juans.
