This conservation easement protects 14 acres of pasture and 7 acres of low-elevation forest. Donors of this easement had raised thoroughbred horses on the property and wanted to protect it from further development. The coniferous forest protected under this easement is becoming increasingly rare in the lower hills of Skagit County.
