This conservation easement was donated to Skagit Land Trust in 2017. It is adjacent to the Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve's Breazeale Interpretive Center and protects 22 acres of forest and prairie, as well as hundreds of feet of natural shoreline along Padilla Bay. This easement will ensure that natural coastal processes are allowed to function and protects a buffer zone of native vegetation. It provides varied habitat for the wildlife of Skagit County.
