Saturday, July 23rd from 11am-2pm

We are excited to welcome our community together on the land this summer for an in-person Open House. Mark your calendar for Saturday, July 23rd, and join us at the Marblemount Conservation Area.

Activities will include walks through the forest and along the river, a chance to catch up with Skagit Land Trust staff and board members, and opportunities to learn about birds, plants, and more. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy on the property during our Open House.

The Marblemount Conservation Area is located three miles west of the town of Marblemount on Highway 20. Look for the private road labeled Ponder Roses on the Skagit River side of the road. Visitors can park at the gravel area just before the gate. Walk down the driveway behind the gate, and take the first left. Pass a tall metal shed on your right and continue on until you see the trail split. This is the beginning of the loop; either direction will take you to the river.

Barr Creek Story Trail
As part of our 30th Anniversary Celebrations, Skagit Land Trust has partnered with the Upper Skagit Library to bring a story trail to the Barr Creek Conservation Area The story trail will be available July and August during the library's summer reading program.
Before and after the Open House at Marblemount, there will be guided walks of the story trail. Please note on the RSVP form if you would like to join us.

River Float
As part of our Open House, we have set up a unique experience through Triad River Tours to float on the Skagit River from Marblemount to Rockport. We have limited spots - if you're interested in the river float, please call our office at 360-428-7878 to see if there are spots available.
