This conservation easement, originally donated in 1996, protected 14 forested acres and then was expanded in 2016 by another 22 acres resulting in 36 total acres of protection.  Adjoining Mount Vernon's Little Mountain Park, this mature forest features towering cedars, firs and hemlocks and buffers the beloved city park on its northern border.
