This private, voluntary, donated conservation easement consists of twelve and a half wooded acres off State Route 20, just east of Anacortes on the south end of Fidalgo Bay. The land is protected from development and commercial logging. It was donated in October 1997 by legendary conservation heroes, John and Doris Tursi. The land is adjacent to a Trust-held conservation easement on Fidlago Bay and the Trust's Fidalgo Bay- Carsten's Conservation Area.
