LGBTQIA+ Nature Walk

Skagit Land Trust is partnering with PFLAG Skagit to lead a beginner-friendly nature walk at Northern State Recreation Area for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Sunday, October 26th from 11am-2pm
Guided walk leaving at approximately 11:30am
Northern State Recreation Area – 25625 Helmick Rd, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284

We’ll enjoy the fall colors, look for mushrooms, catch glimpses of Hansen Creek, and explore some of the beautiful newer trails added by the Skagit Trail Builders over the past five years. There will be time for quiet reflection and individual exploration.

Accessibility: Trails are mostly even, gravel surfaces with minimal elevation gain. Nature walk will be approximately 3 miles at a leisurely pace, with an option for a shorter 1.5-mile loop. Open to all ages and ability levels.

Binoculars, field guides, and nature journals will be provided. Rain or shine, bring your rain jackets and boots. Pets welcome on leash. For more information, please email Richard Smith at rsmith@pflagskagit.org or call Skagit Land Trust, 360-428-7878.
