Conservation Lands Van Tour

Oct 2014 11

10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Burlington to Rockport

Join us for a guided van tour to conservation properties along the Skagit River from Sedro Woolley to Rockport. Trust staff and volunteer land stewards will explain how we conserve and manage natural lands for our community. Cost is $20 per person, or $30 per person with box lunch.

We will board our chartered van in Burlington. Sit back and enjoy the ride as we travel to visit the Utopia Conservation Area, Lyman Slough, Hurn Field, Cascadian Farms easement, and other Trust conservation and stewardship projects. Lunch will be held at beautiful Rasar State Park (brown bag or purchase box lunch) where we can also walk down to the river and view conservation areas on the South Skagit.  The culmination of our trip will include a stop at the Cascadian Farm stand where pumpkin ice cream will be available!

Online registration closed, email lynnej@skagitlandtrust.org or call 360.428.7878 to inquire if space is still available.
