We have lots of other work parties coming up, like these:

2/4 Mud Lake Work Party

9:00am - 12:00pm

Join us removing ivy and blackberry at Mud Lake Conservation Area. We will be working along Mud Lake Rd in a small cedar grove near Mud Lake. Ivy continues to thrive at this site, so we will spend our morning pulling it out and piling it on site to decompose.

2/10 Tope Ryan Work Party

9:00am - 12:00pm

Join us as we remove fencing from along the the Samish River shoreline that is no longer needed to protect the grown trees. If time allows, we may also remove invasive species like Himalayan Blackberry.

2/25 Samish Island Work Party

9:00am - 1:00pm

Join us as we continue to replant a previous house site at Samish Island Conservation area. During this work party, we will be planting patches of native shrubs and trees in areas that was a former house site. These plants will provide food and cover for native species, keep back non native species such as blackberry, and will help revegetate the formerly disturbed area.
