Cumberland Creek tree planting and trail clearing

We've partnered with Emerson High School's Environmental Science class this spring, hoping to provide their students with a beautiful spot on the Skagit for place-based education. In addition, the students have been helping us with stewardship of the Cumberland Creek property.

On Thursday, we'll be planting 50 trees donated by the Sky Native Plant Nursery of Mount Vernon. We'd love to have some community members in addition to our high schoolers there to help out!

If there's extra time, we may do some trail clearing as well.
