Tope Ryan Conservation Area

Details: Please join us at Tope Ryan Conservation Area to help control thistle at this always changing Trust property. We'll be working in an area planted over the last few years. This property is one of the first conserved lands for the Trust, so join us in keeping this special place healthy for people and wildlife!

Bring: Work and weather appropriate clothing -- long sleeves and pants -- and a water bottle, sun (or rain) protection is recommended; and hiking boots or muck boots for walking in tall grass. Work gloves and tools will be provided, but if you have a pair of hand clippers for your pocket please bring them. Light refreshments will be provided.

Directions: From Mount Vernon take the I-5 Bow Hill exit #236, and go east on Bow Hill, continuing along it when it turns into Prairie Rd, for about 3 miles. Turn right onto Grip Road. The property is the first driveway on the left, as indicated by a Skagit Land Trust sign. Carpool options available RSVP to coordinate
