Hurn Field Tree Planting

Dec 2017 15

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Near Concrete

Come check out the newest portion of Hurn Field Conservation Area - an area not generally accessible to the public! You have probably stopped to see the elk and read all about the property at the Highway 20 pullout. Now you can see this wonderful protected property from the other side.

We will be planting just over 150 trees and shrubs to enhance wildlife habitat.

To bring: Your favorite work gloves or kneeling pad! Not to worry if you don't have any we will provide gloves and tools.

Directions: We will meet in the scenic pullout just west of Concrete and carpool down Piscatore Lane  to the work area, see map here. If you would like to carpool from Mount Veron area please RSVP today.

RSVP by emailing volunteer@skagitlandtrust.org or call (360) 428-7878
