Conservation Easement

6 SPACES LEFT!!

Join us in Anacortes to help care for a Conservation Easement. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about how private citizens care for and work to protect all types of land in Skagit County. Conservation Easements are privately owned property so now is your chance to see one up close.

Details: This 22 acre easement is host to forest habitat, wetlands, and is a scenic view in an urban greenbelt. To help protect this area we will remove some invasive daphne and holly. Invasives can greatly deminish the diversity of an area decreasing the conservation value. Help us keep this special place diverse and visit a property not open to the public.

To Bring: Weather and work appropriate clothing MUCK BOOTS ARE REQUIRED, water bottle and a sack lunch. The Land Trust will provide work gloves and light snacks for the morning. Bring your favorite hand trowel if you have one!

RSVP: Carpool options and/or directions will be provided with your RSVP due to the location being a private property. If you can make it and need directions Friday morning please call 303.621.5984.
