Oct 2016 29

10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Utopia Conservation Area

Skagit Land Trust purchased the Utopia Conservation Area in 2012. This former field contains happily maturing restoration plantings, a slow section of Wiseman Creek, coyotes, beavers and pacific tree frogs. Join us to explore and help continue restoration at this site close to Sedro-Woolley!

Bring: Please dress for the weather and plan on getting a bit muddy. Bring a reusable mug for a hot beverage and a water bottle to refill.

Directions: From Sedro-Woolley eastbound on Highway 20, turn right (south) on Hoehn Rd. Turn left (east) onto Utopia Rd. Drive for less than 500 yards; site is on the right, across the street from 28331 Utopia Rd. Parking is down hill on right. Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. Driving time from Sedro-Woolley is 15 minutes.
