Seeking enthusiastic Volunteers for a day of fun at Fidalgo Bay Day in Anacortes, WA. This is a FREE, family-friendly event in the beautiful setting of Fidalgo Bay. The event is open to guests from 11 AM -3PM, set-up will begin at 10 AM.
There will be chowder samples, salmon bbq lunch available for purchase, arts and crafts and various other activities this year. Here’s a link with more info: Skagit Marine Resources
Skagit Land Trust will have one display booth inside, and would like 2-3 volunteers to help for one to two hours, or longer if you like! Volunteers will help by representing Skagit Land Trust at the display table; talking to guests about natural ecosystems, local conservation efforts, healthy habitats for wildlife and recreational opportunities. Volunteers are encouraged to ask guests to sign up for email announcements for a variety of activities.
If you have not volunteered with Skagit Land Trust a short orientation prior to the event will be organized to review commonly asked questions.
