Yellow Archangel Invasive Removal

Jun 2016 14

10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Barney Lake

Details: Join Skagit Land Trust to remove a high-threat invasive species from the beautiful Barney Lake Conservation Area. A small, but aggressively growing patch of Yellow archangel needs to be removed before it produces seeds in an otherwise native plant dominated landscape. We'll be pulling the plants and root systems out of the ground before it gets too dry to do so this year. And we will also plan to return again until it is removed.

Directions: Parking is limited at the work site near Martin Road. Please park at the Skagit Valley Playfields at 2700 Martin Road between 9:30 and 9:45 for carpooling arrangements to and from the site.

Bring: Bring light layers, a water bottle, brown bag lunch if you like and lots of energy! We'll provide refreshments and gloves.

RSVP: Contact Lisa at volunteer@skagitlandtrust.org to RSVP by Monday June 13th, or for any other questions!
