Barney Lake Tour

May 2016 1

10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Barney Lake Conservation Area

Join Skagit Land Trust for a walking tour at the Barney Lake Conservation Area just outside of Mount Vernon. The Barney Lake Conservation Area is Skagit Land Trust's largest conservation area with 371 acres of wetlands, forest land, agricultural land, and scenic open space. During the tour, we'll learn about recent stewardship and restoration activities and plans for the future. We'll also be on the lookout for birds and wildlife, so bring your binoculars!

Please note: we will be walking on uneven and muddy terrain. Please wear boots and weather-appropriate attire and bring a walking stick if you'd like.

We will be meeting at 10:30am at Skagit Valley Playfields at 2700 Martin Road, Mount Vernon to carpool to site.  Click here for a map
