Guemes Mountain Conservation Area

Join Skagit Land Trust for our first stewardship event of 2016!
Working along the Guemes Mountain Trail there are several tasks planned to ready the trail for visitors heading outside this winter. During the day there will also be time to take a break and head up to the top to see the expansive (and protected) view. Please visit the proerty page link above for more information and directions.
- Clearing ditches and clogged drainage features to prevent trail erosion
- Moving small rocks from a nearby area to repair a depression in the trail
- Removing excess organic material to fill in a mud-prone section near the summit
- Maintain an appropriate height of the downhill side of the trail for proper water amd debris run-off
