Join Skagit Land Trust and Volunteer Land Stewards Tamara Thomas and Tom Mayes to visit a unique low-elevation bog ecosystem just east of Mount Vernon. At Sumner Lake Conservation Area you will learn a little history of logging in the area and see rare bog plant species including small carnivorous sundew, Labrador tea, western swamp laurel and bog cranberry.
Due to the sensitivity of this site, space is limited and RSVPS are required by May 22nd. RSVP to lisam@skagitlandtrust.org or 360-428-7878.
