Skagit Land Trust and Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group are partnering to Celebrate Earth Day at Skagit Land Trust’s Utopia Conservation Area
Join us for the 45th anniversary celebrating Earth Day, by restoring riparian habitat for salmon and many other animals at the Utopia Conservation Area near Sedro-Woolley! Skagit Land Trust, in partnership with Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group (SFEG) and Puget Sound Energy, will host a volunteer work party for Earth Day 2015. Celebration activities are all family-friendly and will include planting native trees and shrubs, education about Pacific Northwest native plants and animals, and other Earth Day activities for kids of all ages. Many volunteers have contributed a great deal of time removing invasive species and planting native species over the years at Utopia Conservation Area - come see the changes taking place.
