   Annual Picnic 2012

Join us for our Annual Members Picnic on the shores of Padilla Bay!

The annual picnic is an opportunity to say thank you to our members and volunteers, meet up with old & new friends, and enjoy a beautiful Skagit place. The Trust will provide the main dish and beverages. Members with last name A-L bring a dessert, last name M-Z bring a side dish or salad to share.

Please note:  A Discover Pass is needed to park at Bay View State Park. Holders of Washington state disability permits and licenses are exempt from this requirement. There is also limited street parking on Bay View Edison Road.

Optional Property Tour

At 10:30am, the Trust will also be hosting a small walking tour on nearby private land with high conservation value. Space is limited: contact Lynne Jordan by email or phone (360) 428-7878 for more information.

Optional Beach Seine Activity

Bay Virew State Park


At 11:00am, the Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve will be hosting a beach seine activity on the beach at Bay View State Park. No need to get your feet wet to see what’s living out there in the bay.  Help pull a fish net through the water and learn more about our fine finned friends! No registration necessary.
