Ivy Pull at Barr Creek

Aug 2012 26

10:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Barr Creek, Rockport

Join us for a day of ivy pulling to protect the maturing forest at Barr Creek!  We'll be controlling a fairly small patch of ivy near the road before it can spread throughout the property.  Bring your hands and a pair of gloves (or borrow some of ours!), and wear long sleeves if you are sensitive to English ivy.  With enough help, we can eliminate ivy from Barr Creek altogether! Please consider carpooling from Food Pavillion in Sedro Woolley if you're coming from the west side of the valley.  We'll meet on the north side of the parking lot at 9:10 AM.  Bring a sack lunch to enjoy under the trees by the waterfall with your fellow ivy pullers.

If you're coming from upriver or would like to meet us there, head to Barr Creek by driving east on 20 and turning left on Conrad Road, just past Rockport.  You'll see our parking pullout on the left!
