Cumberland Creek - A Day of Trails and Invasive Removal

May 2012 12

9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Cumberland Creek, Sedro Woolley, WA

Come on out and get ready to wander the idyllic trails of Cumberland Creek, lopping blackberry vines and clearing the paths of debris after the winter winds!  Some of us will also head into the woods and remove some invasive butterfly bush from the property.  Meaning - you get to use the amazing and delightfully fun weed wrench! (no sarcasm here, just check out this website!)

Bring a lunch and something to sit on down by the river, because there are few things more enjoyable than lounging on Cumberland's shoreline on a nice May day!

Cumberland Creek is located on the South Skagit Highway.  Turn into the driveway for house number 34183 and park in front of the gate.  A carpool caravan will leave from the South Skagit Park and Ride at 9:10 AM.
