» Kosbab Protector Removal 1
Saturday, March 03, 2012
— 9:30 AM
to 1:30 PM
Kosbab - Day Creek
In March, we are going back out to a site many of you helped plant and restore about 2 years ago – Day Creek – Kosbab. We will be removing the tree protectors before the reed canary grass gets too tall this year. It’s a wonderful site for seeing what happens after the trees are planted and doing well. There is a wide variety of wildlife active on the site (beaver chewed trees, bobcat prints and birds!). If you are interested in working with us on any of the dates, please consider carpooling from the South Skagit Park and Ride at the South Skagit Highway and Highway 9, as space at the property is limited. We’ll provide tools, gloves, and refreshments.
