Join us at the Museum of Northwest Art on Thursday, November 9th to learn about the importance of these critical shorelines, hear how they inspire a local artist, and find out about an exciting new project the Trust is undertaking to save a local landmark.

Coastal geologist Andrea MacLennan will share how our local bluffs support an entire ecosystem, ensuring food for marine life and protection for our shorline. Intact bluffs are becoming increasingly rare as development grows.

Renowned artist Allen Moe will share a selction of his work, and talk about the process that goes into incorporating the natural world into his pieces. Moe will also share how local coastal sites inspire his work.

This event is free and open to the public. Skagit Land Trust will share news about an exciting opportunity to purchase and preserve a local coastal bluff.
