Come on out to visit the small Samish Koetje Conservation Area to help remove a small patch of Himalayan blackberry. This property protects a beautiful riparian forest and a section of the Samish River. Along the bank is an invasive blackberry patch to be removed before it spreads further into the forest or causes erosion on the river bank.
Bring: Weather and work appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear and a water bottle. We will provide gloves and tools.
RSVP: Carpooling is recommended.
Contact our volunteer coordinator to RSVP at volunteer@skagitlandtrust.org or (360)428-7878 and include your carpool request by Thursday, May 4th.
