Lyman Slough Stewardship Event

Nov 2015 21

10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Lyman Slough Conservation Area

Details: Join us at Lyman Slough Conservation Area to remove invasive plants and help restore this natural habitat. Volunteers will assist with removing tree protectors from previous years, threatening blackberry and ivy, and trash clean up. The Lyman Slough Conservation Area along the Cascade Trail protects significant coho rearing habitat and also hosts a riparian woodland, home to many songbirds, amphibians and bats. Volunteers have contributed a great deal of time removing invasive species, planting native species and placing bird boxes over the years.

Directions: Interested in carpooling? Depart the Sedro-Woolley Food Pavilion at 9:30am to arrive in Lyman by 10 am. RSVP for more detailed directions or assistance setting up a carpool.
