Butler Creek Grub Up and Weedwhacking

Apr 2012 29

10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Butler Creek, Alger, WA

We need a small group of volunteers who are ready to spend a few hours helping control blackberry around some trees planted by a Girl Scout troop last year.  We welcome those who want to help grub up any vines sneaking into the site, clipping back blackberry from the surrounding shrubs, or who have a weedeater of their own (and appropriate safety gear!) and want to hit new ground for us.  This is a peaceful site, and you can find freshwater mussels in beautiful Butler Creek, just ahead of the massive beaver dam.
