Conservation Area Stewardship

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Butler Creek Conservation Area

Come visit Butler Creek this winter! This donated property is 14 acres just south of Alger. The property contains mixed native forest with one corner spanning to the east side of the creek.

Volunteers are needed to help clear encroaching blackberry from trees that have been planted. Afterwards feel free to walk the trail - the change in the forest canopy is spectacular! Wear your mud boots!

Dress in layers for weather in late November.

Please RSVP - we access this site via an easement through a neighbors driveway, so carpooling is important. We'll meet at Cook Road and Old Hwy 99 Park & Ride (across from Starbucks) at 8:40 am to group up.
