1st Saturday Stewardship

Jul 2017 1

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Butler Creek Conservation Area

Come visit Butler Creek the first Saturday in July! This donated property is 14 acres just south of Alger. The property contains mixed native forest with one corner spanning to the east side of the creek.

Volunteers are needed to help clear downed branches and vegetation from a fence line we share with the neighbor. Afterwards we will walk the trail - the change in the forest canopy is spectacular!

Dress in layers for weather it is much cooler in the forested areas.

Please RSVP - we access this site via an easement through a neighbors driveway, so carpooling is important. We'll meet at Cook Road and Old Hwy 99 Park & Ride (across from Starbucks) at 8:45 am to group up.
