1st Saturday Stewardship!

Nov 2016 5

10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Butler Creek

Come visit Butler Creek this Saturday! This donated property consists of more than 13 acres, just south of Alger. The property contains mixed native forest with one corner spaning to the east side of the creek.

12 volunteers needed to help control pesky blackberries surrounding a planting area in Butler Creek. The trees were planted in 2011 by a Girl Scout troup and are doing really well but are getting overgrown. Come help give these trees some fresh light!

Dress for weather and if you have them bring thick gloves, clippers and/or loppers, and safety glasses. We will also bring extras.

Please RSVP - we access this site via an easement through a neighbors driveway, so carpooling is important. We'll meet at Cook Road and Old Hwy 99 (across from Starbucks) at 9:30am to group up.

RSVP at volunteer@skagitlandtrust.org or call (360) 428-7878
