Samish Island Squires Conservation Easment

Join Skagit Land Trust at one of our beautiful conservation easements - the Squire's Samish Island heronry. We will be working to continue ivy removal efforts in the heronry, a nesting site for several hundred Great blue herons. Over the last several years with volunteer help, we have successfully cleared acres of ivy from tree trunks and the forest floor. We'll provide gloves and necessary tools, but please remember to wear long sleeves and bring a water bottle into the forest!
