Bicycling to the picnic site will take apx. 15 minutes and walking 45 minutes.  Review the ferry schedule to determine your options: Click here for the Guemes Ferry Schedule.

Directions from the Guemes Ferry terminal: turn right onto South Shore Road and travel 2.7 miles along the road as it follows the shoreline and then curves left (north).  Just north of the Guemes Mountain trailhead, you will see a red and white barn and field on the left side of the road. There is plenty of parking here, although carpooling or bicycling is encouraged. See map below - yellow symbol indicates picnic location.
