Could you ever imagine our beautiful Skagit County without the Skagit River? It’s almost impossible to do.

The Skagit touches just about everyone who lives here. The quality of life we enjoy comes from the Skagit River—electricity for our homes and businesses, quality water to drink and irrigate our crops, livelihoods for our fishermen, and a place for our families to play, picnic, camp and hike.

Join us 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday, September 7 at Edgewater Park in Mount Vernonfor a FREE fun-filled experience for families featuring:

  •  Youth Activities and Crafts
  • Recreational and Educational Booths
  • Live Music and Cultural Opportunities
  • Great Food and Salmon BBQ
  • Beer & Wine Garden
  • Commercial Arts & Craft Vendors
  • Silent Auction
  • Ray Reep Salmon Derby
  • And much, much more!

Through the day’s events and activities, participants will come away with a greater understanding and appreciation of our Skagit River, our salmon resources, and the many communities it sustains.
